I am partial to lockets, and I go even more nuts when I find one that is not in the shape of a heart (I generally hate heart-shaped jewelry, and the chances of you seeing anything heart-shaped on this blog are slim and none and slim just left the room).
The lady on the locket makes it look like an antique piece, and the triangle filligree is an unusual element that compliments the diamond shape of the locket. There is no clash here between old and new, but rather a harmonious gathering of classic and modern.
