I've been sad about velvet going out of style since 2002, which is the last time I think it was in. Some will say that velvet never goes out of style, and in some respects, that's true. Velvet is always welcome in December. But velvet in November? February? That's a different story. But it's back on now!
This velvet dress has such a flattering cut, it's hard to imagine a body it wouldn't look good on. Having a mini dress with sleeves does minimize the "I feel naked" feeling that sometimes accompanies a mini dress.
